Building Climate Resilience

Planning Ahead is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing climate resilience through community-centered education, disaster preparedness, and adaptation planning. Our mission is to help communities most impacted by extreme weather move from crisis to readiness. We achieve this by providing disaster relief training focused on extreme heat and flood preparedness, developing practical and equity-centered curriculum, and serving as an Adaptation Practitioner supporting organizations and communities in climate adaptation planning.
