Citizen Advisory Board

Planning Ahead’s Citizen Advisory Board brings together community members who want to inform, guide, and strengthen our work through local knowledge and lived experience. CAB members help ensure our programs remain responsive, accessible, and grounded in the realities of the communities most impacted by climate change.

CAB members may:

Provide feedback on programs and community engagement strategies
Share insights on local climate, environmental, and community needs
Participate in listening sessions, workshops, and planning conversations
Help strengthen trust and accountability between Planning Ahead and the community

What to expect:

This is a volunteer role
No financial compensation is provided
Leadership development, learning opportunities, recognition, and potential apprenticeship pathways may be available
